- Describe why a problem you’d like to address or a future goal you’d like to achieve is significant to you. Knowing why you’ve decided to take on this challenge can help you stay motivated.
- Determine what a successful outcome looks like. What does reaching your goals entail? How will you know if you’re on the right track? Make a commitment and ground yourself with an intention. You may put a sticky note on your computer with your intention on it so you can see it first thing in the morning.
- Decide on new habits to try that will help you reach your objective, and get feedback as you go. Tell your boss, coworkers, or a valued colleague what you’re working on and that you need their aid to improve. And don’t forget to congratulate yourself on your accomplishments as you grow.
